Job Title: Big Data Tester

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled data automation specialist with expertise in programming languages such as Python or Java and strong knowledge of SQL. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with large datasets, comprehend stored procedures, and write logical test automation scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases focused on trading workflows.
  • Create custom data validation scripts based on provided regression test cases.
  • Read, understand, and translate stored procedure logic into automated testing processes.
  • Compare datasets across environments and generate detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with team members and adhere to structured automation practices.
  • Contribute to maintaining a centralized automation script repository.
  • Establish and implement comprehensive QA strategies and test plans from scratch.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong programming experience in Python (preferred) or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, including writing and debugging complex queries, understanding stored procedures, and working with data structures.
  • Experience working with test management tools, such as X-Ray/JIRA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
