Medical Research Analyst Role:

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will work on projects fine-tuning large language models using your strong analytical and English comprehension skills, focusing on complex medical concepts at a level required for medical school or professional practice.

Break down intricate medical cases into simple explanations and work efficiently. The projects also help you learn how to leverage AI to be a better analyst.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Diagnostic Analysis: Review patient cases, analyze symptoms, and propose diagnoses with explanations and relevant imaging, driving accurate clinical decision-making.

  • Medical Pathophysiology: Explain underlying disease mechanisms utilizing diagrams, charts, and simulations, ensuring a deep understanding of complex medical topics.

  • Clinical Decision-Making: Solve clinical scenarios involving patient management, interpreting lab results and imaging, and explain chosen courses of action, promoting effective healthcare delivery.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Good research and analytical skills are necessary for this role.
  • Feedback Skills: Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative Thinking: Creative and lateral thinking abilities are essential for tackling complex medical problems.
  • Communication: Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
  • Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Technical Setup: Desktop/Laptop setup with good internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing UG (MBBS, BDS), PG (MD/MS/DNB/MDS), or Post PG (DM, MCh) are eligible and encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of core medical subjects like anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex medical problems with a structured approach.
  • Ability to explain medical concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and simulations when needed.
