Job Role Overview

  • Coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for BIM modelling and drawing tasks in a given project.
  • Work on detailed drawings for a range of projects and mentor other members of the drafting team in accomplishing complex tasks.
  • Responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and 3D models with good quality.
  • Assist the project team towards developing/implementing drafting standards.
  • Assist in improving the efficiency and productivity of the modelling and drafting team.
  • Exercises self-discipline and work ethics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Your Key Attributes

  • Professional degree in Civil Engineering trained Professional with more than 7 years of professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD/ Revit/Tekla 2D & 3D is essential, knowledge of European detailing and modelling standards would be desirable.
  • Experience in preparation of drawings for transportation projects such bridges (road, railway, metro etc.), retaining structures, etc is must.
  • Experience in preparing General arrangement Drawings, Steel / Reinforcement detailing drawings, concrete and excavation 3D models and BOQs.
  • Knowledge of concrete and structural steel detailing standards.
  • Must have experience on international projects.
  • Self-motivated, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines can be relied on to meet deadlines.
  • Professional English language and communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with German language (read, write and speak).
