Job Summary">

As a key member of our electronics design team, you will collaborate with the project lead in requirements management, electronic circuit design, analysis, implementation, and testing of aerospace electronics products/printed circuit cards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate electronics component selection, analog & digital circuit design, and schematic entry for optimal performance.
  • Analyze circuit performance for tolerance, power, thermal, and worst-case scenarios.

Board bring-up and testing. Environmental testing. Process, quality, and program compliance.

Support technical decision-making on design and implementation during product hardware development.

Participate and sometimes lead critical high-level and low-level design reviews.

Identify root causes of problems and develop alternative solutions.

Apply technical expertise and problem-solving skills to establish effective solutions for complex problems involving multiple technical disciplines.

Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria within a related function/field.

Generate, evaluate, select, and implement solutions that meet or exceed industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Power Electronics or Master's degree with 7-8 years of experience in relevant fields.

§ Good understanding of electronics hardware involving digital/microprocessor circuits fundamentals, power, and EMI circuits.

  • Must have electrical design experience with high-speed digital or mixed-signal design.

§ Have practical experience in analyzing/troubleshooting the above.

§ Ability to simplify circuits and explain underlying concepts clearly.

">

§ Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership at project level.

">

§ Self-motivated with focus on results, sense of urgency, and working boundary less.

">

§ Good written and verbal presentation and communication skills.

">

· Design experience for complying EMI/EMC in power electronics application and exposure with RF conducted and radiated emissions/susceptibility testing.

">

· Good understanding of grounding and shielding techniques. Chassis design for good EMC is an added advantage.

">

· Thorough knowledge of board design, EMI filter design, lightning analysis, component selection.

">

· Mentor schematic and layout tools – Dx Designer, Hyperlynx DRC, Hyperlynx SI.

">

The ideal candidate should be an innovative and integrative thinker who can quickly visualize solutions and generate ideas.

The candidate should possess good orientation to HW systems, procedures, and process frameworks (CMMi, AS9100C, Six-Sigma, HW Processes) for product/HW development.
