Strategic Enrollment Manager Job Description

The Strategic Enrollment Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the university's growth strategies by developing and implementing effective outreach programs to attract, recruit, and retain students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive business development plan to ensure the attraction, recruitment, and retention of students through targeted outreach initiatives and community engagement.
  • Evaluate applications, establish criteria, and oversee the admissions process to ensure seamless student onboarding.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities, tours, student interviews, and information sessions to promote the university nationwide.
  • Maintain strong relationships with educational constituencies, fostering networking opportunities and promoting the university's reputation.
  • Collaborate with other university departments to promote the university and drive enrollment.
  • Oversee the development of admissions materials, events, and marketing practices to optimize student engagement.
  • Provide expert guidance on admissions requirements, processes, and procedures to students, parents, and guardians.
  • Coordinate the efficient handling of applications and communications with parents of student applicants.
  • Lead the student recruiting process by planning, coordinating, and overseeing promotional events, campus tours, student interviews, and other admissions activities.
  • Analyze enrollment trends and marketing performance to refine effective programs and maintain a steady flow of quality applicants.
  • Direct, hire, and coach admissions staff members to achieve excellence in student recruitment.
  • Meet sales targets and monitor admission counselors' performance to ensure they meet defined goals.
  • Enhance the admissions department and university reputation by taking ownership of new requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
