Civil Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and planning of construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with expertise in infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of complex construction projects
  • Conduct site investigations and analyze data to determine project feasibility and develop strategic plans for implementation
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
  • Supervise construction teams and contractors to ensure projects are completed according to plans and specifications
  • Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and identifying potential issues or obstacles that may impact project timelines or budgets
  • Develop cost estimates and budget proposals for construction projects, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with at least 6 years of experience in a similar role
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software, as well as project management tools and techniques
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations, including building codes and industry standards
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex data, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and communicate technical information effectively to non-technical audiences
