Character Animator

We are seeking a skilled Character Animator to bring characters and props to life through 2D animation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of 2D animation principles, proficiency in industry-standard tools, and the ability to handle character acting, expressions, and dynamic movements.

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our creative team and contribute to high-quality storytelling projects. As a Character Animator, you will be responsible for creating smooth, high-quality 2D character and prop animations, working with storyboards and animatics to bring concepts to life, collaborating with directors, designers, and other animators to maintain visual consistency, and meeting production deadlines while maintaining creativity and detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging and believable character animations that enhance the overall storytelling experience.
  • Develop and implement effective techniques for achieving desired character performances and expressions.
  • Collaborate with the animation team to ensure cohesive and visually appealing animation.
  • Meet project timelines and deliver high-quality results within established deadlines.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in 2D animation principles, including timing, spacing, squash & stretch, etc.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Animate or Toon Boom Harmony.
  • Ability to convey emotion and personality through character performance.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for storytelling.
