Java Engineer - Production Support Role

A challenging opportunity to work with a skilled Java Production Support Engineer has emerged. As a key member of our production support team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our production systems.

This is an ideal opportunity for professionals who have strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot and are passionate about solving real-time production issues while contributing to development efforts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing their technical and analytical skills to solve critical customer/field technical escalations from our Support, Professional Services, Sales and Pre-Sales teams.

  • Solve complex technical problems and develop solutions for customer-reported issues.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop and implement solutions.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to update the development team on ongoing escalations and their statuses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years' experience in technical product support type roles, preferably in escalations teams.
  • Experience working as L3 escalation engineer taking care of complex customer issues.
  • Software development experience using Java technologies.
  • Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Good understanding and working experience of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
