Dessert Specialist

About this role:

• We are seeking a skilled Pastry Specialist to join our team, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastry and dessert menu items.
• The successful candidate will have experience working in an upscale hotel, resort, or convention banqueting service and be knowledgeable about proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and USPH regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and presenting a wide range of pastry and dessert menu items according to provided recipes and photos.
• Working at designated pastry stations, being placed in charge of pastry production, and assisting with food transportation.
• Setting up pastry displays, cleaning and sanitizing the work area, and adhering to USPH regulations.
• Attending meetings, training activities, and courses as required.

Qualifications and education:

• Minimum two years' experience as a Pastry Cook in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and completion of high school or basic education equivalency requirement.
