About the Role:

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us advance health equity on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop operational reports and dashboards using Power BI
  • Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI
  • Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications
  • Be experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSMS, SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, and DAX
  • Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions
  • Report metrics scorecards and dashboarding to the senior management dashboards
  • Collaborate with Sr. Management and respective functions. Socialization of metrics with Leadership team and get their buy in
  • Understand and provide support on resolving the data discrepancies, measurement and data mismatch issues and standardization
  • Build drill down visualization with appropriate graphs & cuts, slicing and dicing of data and performance analysis results vis-a-vis goals, enable improvement actions
  • Perform quality checks on the reports and data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before sending it across to the clients both internal and external
  • Work as the data strategist, identifying and integrating new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities
  • Execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact across various domains and industries
  • Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with software developers and machine learning engineers
  • Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems
  • Analyze data for trends and patterns, and Interpret data with a clear objective in mind
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and analysts across teams
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Be able to learn and quickly respond to rapidly changing business environment
  • Be up to date about the best practices and advancements in development and design
  • Documenting, designing, and modeling solutions and explaining, representing, and discussing the same with the team
  • Applying experience and knowledge to future solution considerations
