Job Description:

The role of a Fraud Investigation Associate involves scrutinizing potential suspicious activities and ensuring the integrity of our financial systems. As part of a fast-growing startup, this position requires adaptability, proactivity, and excellent decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough investigations into potential fraud activity on our products.
  • Closely review Fraud incidents received from different channels and conduct immediate investigations.
  • Take ownership of gathering all possible information while investigating incidents.
  • Initiate urgent actions as required to prevent future financial and reputational loss.
  • Monitor fraud alerts daily and take necessary action.
  • Identify fraud patterns and modus operandi from investigations and share insights with the analytics team.
  • Coordinate with the analytics team, product team, and other stakeholders.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

This role requires:

  • 1-3 years of working experience in Fraud operations & Investigation (Banking/Fintech organization only).
  • Comfortable making decisions and judgments.
  • Graduate degree in any relevant field.
  • Presentable (as you will need to communicate with customers as a part of the investigation).
  • Street smart and able to detect patterns.
  • Fluency in English & Hindi.
