Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective purchase of raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, and other essentials required for smooth business operations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and establish strong vendor relationships. Additionally, they will be responsible for preparing purchase orders, ensuring timely follow-up with suppliers, and maintaining records of goods ordered and received.

In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and quality standards, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with the production and warehouse team. Furthermore, you will track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely supply. You will also develop cost-saving strategies while maintaining product quality, coordinate with accounts for timely payments and supplier reconciliations, and stay updated with market trends, new suppliers, and pricing changes.
