High-Impact Software Engineering Role

We are looking for a talented senior full-stack engineer to join a high-impact migration project modernizing our legacy platform.

The primary focus will be migrating our legacy UI to Spring Boot microservices and hosting UI pages on AWS, while also driving code refactoring, upgrades, security and resilience improvements, monitoring, and other operational enhancements.

  • Build and maintain highly available, resilient, and secure production systems on AWS Cloud.
  • Migrate legacy UI systems to our new microservice architecture.
  • Upgrade legacy Java applications to Spring Boot applications ensuring high-quality and secure code.
  • Test, document, and otherwise quality-proof your work to ensure that software meets business and operational needs.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot any issues to identify root cause and appropriate resolution.
  • Support production deployments, operations, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor metrics and identify ways to improve logging, reporting, and alerting.
Essential Qualifications
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with Java and related frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices, build, and deployment technologies.
  • Experience working with REST APIs.
  • Understanding of security concepts and vulnerability management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
