We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled data automation engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automated scripts in Python to create a golden model within SQL Server.

This involves collaborating with developers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensuring test coverage, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment, identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and inconsistencies in data, and contributing to test automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing automated scripts in Python to create a golden model within SQL Server
  • Collaborating with developers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure test coverage
  • Integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and inconsistencies in data
  • Contribution to test automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Test Automation with a focus on data validation and transformation logic, proficiency in Python, particularly with YData-Synthetic or SDV (Synthetic Data Vault), experience working in CI/CD environments and integrating tests into automated pipelines, solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and MUST HAVE experience with GE Plant Applications.

This is a 100% remote position with candidates able to work nearshore or offshore and overlap 3-5 hours with CST time zone.
