Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Lead to lead the electrical design engineering activities for MW-scale land-based solar power plants, gas power plants, battery energy storage systems, and substation projects up to 220 kV.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure client needs and internal deadlines are met.

  • Deliver timely engineering drawings and documents aligned to project schedules.
  • Perform accurate system sizing calculations and execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements.
  • Candidate must be capable of multitasking and delivering multiple tasks on time.
  • Estimate and plan man-hour requirements.
  • Take feedback from the market to help provide ideas to improve our product offering.
  • Provide technical sales support by educating prospective customers about our offerings and helping develop trust with customers on the technical front.
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure inter-departmental checks.
  • Provide support and clarifications to the site execution team.
  • Check pre-award evaluations of vendors w.r.t. technical specifications and requirements of the client and forward validation documents to supply chain management.
  • Clarify issues related to design requirements of the client to the site execution team.
  • Collect inputs for project details, plot details, feeder arrangements, etc., from clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Engineering Manager: Review drawings by design engineers, draughts persons, checking of design, sizing calculations of engineering electrical equipment, and obtaining approvals from the client.
  • Review of vendor deliverables pertaining to engineering and coordinating with operations teams and informing design specifications for obtaining approval.
  • Cost optimization approach, design optimization approach, risk and cost analysis of tender preparation, and pre-bid tender queries.
  • Energy estimation risk analysis.
