Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance RESTful APIs using Node.js and MongoDB.
  • Optimize backend performance for handling large data volumes and high-traffic environments.
  • Design and maintain multi-tenant architectures ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Implement microservices-based solutions ensuring modularity and maintainability.
  • Proficiently manage and optimize MongoDB including indexing and performance tuning.
  • Work with DevOps to ensure reliability and security of backend systems.
  • Collaborate with product teams to build long-term backend solutions.
  • Write clean and secure code following industry best practices.
  • Implement logging and debugging tools to ensure system reliability.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js and MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and system design principles.
  • Experience building and maintaining multi-tenant applications.
  • Proven ability to handle large-scale data and high-traffic systems.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB including schema design and performance optimization.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging queues.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Strong experience with API development best practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with caching mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures.
  • Exposure to REST / gRPC for API communication.
  • Understanding of real-time processing.
