Senior Communications Professional

We are seeking a seasoned senior corporate communications manager to join our dynamic team. This role will support the development and execution of both external and internal communications strategies.

About the Role

This position involves developing and executing comprehensive communications plans, managing media relations, and creating engaging social media content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the brand awareness strategy and annual plan.
  • Define key messages and Q&A documents.
  • Adapt global corporate communication materials for local use.
  • Manage media relations by mapping journalists in the energy sector, pitching opportunities, and creating press releases.
  • Manage social media by planning LinkedIn posts, identifying speaking opportunities, and supporting internal leaders in handling communication opportunities.
  • Organize events, coordinating with event partners.
  • Internal Communication: manage internal communication channels with India-specific content, support internal event organization, and develop campaigns to boost employee engagement.
  • Branding: coordinate branding element requirements across India.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in corporate communications or a communication agency.
  • Background in renewable energy or energy market.
  • Degree in Communication or Journalism.
  • Social media management experience.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools.
Desired Skills:
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Skilled at building long-term stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good communication skills in Hindi.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
