Research and Development Power Electronics Specialist

This role offers the opportunity to lead the charge in revolutionizing the future of flight. As a Research Engineer in Power Electronics and Controls, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing power electronics that will power the next generation of hybrid and more electric aircraft.
You will work closely with a dynamic team to drive innovation in advanced electrical power conversion systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative and diverse team working to advance aerospace for future generations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop state-of-the-art power converters for hybrid electric and more electric applications
- Develop and build high-frequency magnetics
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver project excellence
- Drive technical projects to success, meeting timelines and quality standards
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 5 years of industry experience
- Expertise in simulation and analysis of electrical and electromechanical systems
- Familiarity with electronics packaging and EMI/EMC compliance
