Migration Expert Lead

Job Summary:

A Migration Expert Lead is required to work on various implementation projects for customers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technical professionals in implementation projects
  • Analyze and interpret legacy data to support its transformation and migration into Guidewire systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to define mapping, transformation rules, and conversion logic
  • Work closely with developers to create, validate, and refine scripts and models
  • Develop and execute validation, reconciliation, and audit checks to ensure successful conversion
  • Document dictionaries, mapping specifications, conversion strategies, and post-migration reporting
  • Perform mock conversions and support dry runs and cutover activities
  • Assist QA teams with test planning and conversion-related test cases
  • Provide support during User Acceptance Testing and post-go-live stabilization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5-10 years of industry experience
  • Core Competencies: Guidewire Data Model, ETL, SSIS experience with Guidewire hands-on experience, Data Conversion Mapping from legacy systems

This position requires excellent leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in data migration and integration processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data modeling, transformation, and validation, as well as experience working with large datasets.
