About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to shaping a better future for everyone. As an Embedded Systems Test Engineer, you will perform manual and automated testing of embedded firmware and networking protocols. Your tasks will include:

  • Performing manual and automated testing of embedded firmware and networking protocols, such as IP v4/v6, ICMP, ARP, TCP/UDP, L2/L3, Zigbee, IEEE802.15.4, Wi-Fi, Radius server Security (802.1.x), ANSI, DLMS, etc.
  • Using tools like Wireshark or packet generating tools for stress or load testing, and analyzing network traffic and performance.
  • Creating and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports based on requirements, specifications, and user stories.
  • Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects, and verifying fixes and enhancements.
  • Collaborating with developers, product owners, and other testers to ensure quality and functionality of the products.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in embedded/firmware testing and networking protocols testing.
  • Proficient in using tools like Wireshark or packet generating tools for stress or load testing.
  • Knowledge of any scripting language, such as Perl, Bash, Python, or TCL. Linux is a plus.
