Production Operations Specialist

The Production Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production processes in a manufacturing plant. This includes verifying the labels of raw materials, packing materials, and solvents before use, as well as maintaining optimal storage conditions for raw materials and intermediates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain process conditions for batches according to established procedures.
  • Receive instructions from shift supervisors or managers for batch charging/monitoring and follow up accordingly.
  • Report any deviations or discrepancies in plant or process operations to shift supervisors.
  • Complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.
Documentation and Compliance:
  • Complete online records for batch procedures, equipment usage, and cleaning protocols specific to their shift.
  • Furnish area differential pressure records, centrifuge bag records, and other relevant documentation for the Production area.

The Production Operations Specialist must also provide guidance and training to operators in the Finished Powder Processing Section, ensure that yield and quality of finished products meet predefined standards, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and areas under their charge.
