Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Description

About the Role:

Our team is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead the design, development, and manufacturing support for mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise, improve processes, and ensure high-quality, reliable designs that meet performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical design and development of parts, assemblies, and systems.
  • Conduct engineering analysis including stress, thermal, and tolerance studies.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare engineering documentation, specifications, and change orders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation (FEA, thermal).
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering challenges with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
