Service Optimization Lead

This role involves overseeing the maintenance and optimization of electric vehicle performance across multiple geographies. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, troubleshoot recurring issues, and build standard operating procedures for servicing and emergency breakdown management.

You will also liaise with equipment manufacturers and local service centers to resolve technical faults quickly, manage charging and swapping stations, and track key performance indicators such as uptime, average repair time, and cost per kilometer.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical know-how in electric vehicles, on-ground service experience, and the ability to manage vendors and service networks across India and UAE.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering and 3-4 years of experience in EV servicing, fleet operations, or automotive service roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fleet Maintenance & Servicing
    • Oversight of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for electric vehicles in India and UAE.
    • Troubleshooting of recurring issues in drivetrain, batteries, telematics, and control systems.
    • Development of SOPs for servicing, battery swaps, and emergency breakdown management.
  • Vendor & Service Network Management
    • Liaison with OEMs and local service centres to resolve technical faults quickly.
    • Oversight of the management of charging and swapping stations, including setting up SOPs, monitoring day-to-day operations, and resolving issues that arise.
  • Vehicle Health Monitoring
    • Tracking of KPIs such as uptime, average repair time, battery health, and cost per km.
    • Collaboration with telematics engineers to monitor live data and predict failures proactively.
  • Deployment & On-Ground Ops
    • Supervision of fleet rollouts, registration, and integration with last-mile delivery partners.
    • Training of delivery riders and fleet supervisors on EV handling and charging.
    • Ensure vehicles meet regulatory compliance standards during deployment.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintenance of detailed service logs, maintenance costs, and vehicle performance dashboards.
    • Reporting of key insights and recurring issues to engineering teams for design improvements.
