As a Freelance QA Automation Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and quality of applications.
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in Karate Framework for UI and API test automation. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test cases to guarantee application performance, security, and usability.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate Framework for UI and API testing.
- Design reusable, modular, and scalable automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create effective test coverage.
- Execute and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
- Proven hands-on experience with Karate Framework for both API and UI automation.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, or related programming languages.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
