Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Role and Responsibilities :
As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Xtranet Technologies Private Limited, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our Front and back-office applications. With 7+ years of hands-on experience in software/IT quality assurance, you will work through all phases of the software development life cycle with a focus on web-based applications.
You will lead the testing team in planning, executing, and reporting each test cycle, conducting functional and non-functional systems testing, and reporting defects clearly explaining the test cases and test scenarios to the development team. Additionally, you will provide support to the development team to understand the defect, data used for testing, and support the development team in root cause analysis.
Technical Skills :
You should have the ability to write SQL code and understanding of relational databases. Technical expertise in Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools, and Techniques is also required. Hands-on experience managing bug reporting and test execution status tracking, using testing tools Jira, is a must. Proven experience in working with both Kanban and/or Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies is also required.
Soft Skills :
Team work and collaboration with internal/external teams, effective communication skills (listening, expressing, writing), critical thinking, attention to detail (keen eye for identifying and resolving defects), and creativity and problem-solving are essential for this role.
