Pre Underwriting Specialist

This role involves analyzing and verifying loan applications to determine loan eligibility. You will evaluate financial risk factors, order appraisals and title reports, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor loan guidelines.

- Evaluating financial risk factors and identifying potential issues.
- Ordering and reviewing appraisals, title reports, and other loan documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders throughout the loan process.
You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive reports with clear justifications for approval or denial of loan applications. A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills are essential for this role.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting or a similar financial analysis role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain complex financial concepts.
