About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled professional to join our Quality Assurance team as a User Interface Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in user interface testing, quality assurance, or a related field.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Verify User Interface Functionality: Execute manual and automated tests to ensure that the user interface functions as intended across web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.
  • Validate Design Specifications: Ensure UI elements adhere to design mockups, wireframes, and style guides.
  • Cross-Browser/Device Testing: Test applications on various browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Bug Identification and Reporting: Log defects with clear descriptions, steps to reproduce, and screenshots/videos.
  • Usability Evaluation: Assess the user interface for ease of use, accessibility, and overall user experience.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work with UX/UI designers, developers, and product managers to clarify requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure new updates do not negatively impact existing UI functionality.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with UI testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other front-end technologies to understand UI behavior.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
