Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our office. As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our technical team.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology proposition and contribute to technical seniority, supporting technology consulting projects, identifying and advising on suitable solutions for clients.

  • Designing and delivering high-quality digital solutions adhering to best practices while defining coding standards and team conventions.
  • Advocating for developer experience and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Leading and influencing the technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.
  • Collaborating with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.
  • Setting up software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.
  • Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other engineers.
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • High proficiency and understanding in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with experience in Node.js desirable.
  • Experience in a CI/CD environment using tools like Circle CI, GitHub actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture.
  • Ability to build and ship applications utilizing cloud platforms and services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience in agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation via various methods.
  • Strong desire and advocacy for performant applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain solutions and collaborate effectively with others.
