Job Opportunity: On-Air Personality

The primary objective of an on-air personality is to engage audiences and foster memorable experiences through exceptional hosting, presentation, and facilitating skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Hosting and Presentation:
    • Host events, conferences, workshops, seminars, cultural functions, sports events, and other programs with confidence and charisma.
    • Deliver live commentary that captivates the audience and maintains their interest throughout the event.
    • Introduce speakers, dignitaries, and guests while ensuring smooth transitions between event segments.
    • Conduct interviews, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions when required.
  • Audience Engagement:
    • Engage with the audience through interactive elements, ice-breakers, and informative content.
    • Project a dynamic, friendly, and professional demeanor to ensure continuous audience engagement.
    • Ensure timely execution of event schedules and manage transitions between segments seamlessly.
  • Content Preparation:
    • Collaborate closely with the event team to comprehend the event's theme, objectives, and content.
    • Prepare scripts, speeches, and presentations that align with the event's tone and message.
    • Research relevant topics and information to provide accurate and engaging content.
  • Coordination with Organizers and Teams:
    • Work collaboratively with event coordinators, technical teams, and other stakeholders to guarantee smooth event execution.
    • Offer constructive feedback and suggestions to enhance the flow of the event.
  • Brand Representation:
    • Represent the organization in a positive, professional, and articulate manner during public interactions.
    • Ensure consistent communication of the organization's vision, values, and messages throughout all events.
  • Social Media and Digital Engagement:
    • Assist in promoting events through social media platforms and official channels.
    • Record short video snippets, interviews, or highlights from the event for promotional purposes.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Educational Qualification:
    • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.
    • Experience:
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an on-air personality, host, or presenter in a professional setting, such as television, radio, live events, or media.
    • Preferably prior experience in hosting educational or corporate events.
    • Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is beneficial).
    • Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Confident, dynamic, and energetic personality.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected situations during live events.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with media production and event management tools is advantageous.
