Key Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for managing procurement and logistics to support business objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning of annual material requirements and establishing procurement strategies.
  • Driving cost reduction initiatives in procurement and logistics.
  • Supervising the maintenance of quality management systems.
  • Developing and implementing efficient procurement processes.

Sourcing and Procurement

  • Leading sourcing solutions to achieve cost reduction and streamlined operations globally.
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure best prices and delivery terms.

Vendor Management

  • Identifying and developing reliable vendor base domestically and internationally.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Inventory Control and Supply Chain Management

  • Planning and procuring materials per production plan.
  • Coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth inventory management.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout contract lifecycle.
  • Implementing quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction.

System Management

  • Maintaining accurate records and reports on procurement and logistics activities.
  • Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Core Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and logistics management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and logistics principles and practices.
