Job Profile: Senior Associate to Principal Associate

As a senior associate or principal associate, you will play a key role in our Corporate & Commercial practice group. You will be responsible for:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents (such as Share Subscription Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, etc.)
  • Working on Private Equity/ Venture Capital/Mergers and Acquisitions matters, including unlisted and listed space experience
  • End-to-end closing of transactions
  • Developing a strong understanding of corporate laws, including the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI laws, and foreign exchange laws

You will also lead due diligences and effectively communicate with clients. Adaptability to various work streams such as advisory, drafting, negotiations, and corporate litigation is essential.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 6-8 years of experience in corporate and commercial laws
  • A degree in law (LL.B. or B.A. LL.B.)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
