Job Title: General Sales

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Professional to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions to meet their power quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations to ensure the best possible solutions for our customers.
  • Prepare and support the preparation of technical and commercial offers based on customer expectations, local business unit/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.
  • Define and estimate costs for proposed solutions and communicate them to the Sales organization.
  • Participate in the risk review process and provide information to the risk review assessment in accordance with organization policy.
  • Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization.
  • Perform lost proposal analysis, identify potential causes, and recommend future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Unit to obtain better future results.
  • Work on improving the current sales process and maintain a continuous learning mindset.
  • Meet assigned sales targets and ensure sales achievement, grade, and job evaluation indicators.

Requirements:

  • University degree in electrical engineering combined with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Capacitors Sales.
  • Previous experience in Capacitors/Switchgears, technical solution sales will be preferred.
  • Self-starter with good communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
