Key Responsibilities:

  • Component Development: Design and build high-quality, reusable React.js components that meet the highest standards of usability and accessibility.
  • Design Implementation: Translate Figma or design mockups into clean, responsive front-end code, ensuring seamless integration with design systems.
  • CSS Best Practices: Implement modern CSS practices using tools like SCSS, CSS Modules, Tailwind, or styled-components, prioritizing performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and Rails backend engineers to ensure cohesive design language and efficient development processes.
  • UI Standards: Contribute to the development of UI standards, component libraries, and design systems, driving consistency across the organization.
  • Mentorship: Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance to foster growth and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in UI/front-end development.
  • Expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong experience with converting Figma designs into production-ready code.
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, CSS architecture, and component-based development.
  • Experience with CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap, etc.) and CSS-in-JS solutions.
  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and integrating with Rails-based backends.
  • Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library.
  • Good understanding of Git workflows, Agile development, and CI/CD processes.
