Job Opening

We are seeking an experienced database professional to join our team in Noida, India.

  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and analyze data logically.
  • A willingness to learn and undertake tasks through peers and online sources.
  • Eagerness to automate processes using Linux shell scripts/procedures/Python etc.
  • Maintaining/updating documents, standards and sharing knowledge with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database administration: In-depth knowledge of Teradata tools and utilities TTU, Teradata Studio, BTEQ.
  • Backup and recovery: Good understanding of database backups and recovery using DSA Backup, Data Mover, Queries/Scripts.
  • Teradata system management: Understanding of TASM portlets, workload management, alerts and configurations.
  • Database performance optimization: Knowledge of system configurations, statistics, and indexes.
  • Query optimization techniques: Ability to optimize queries based on observed issues or raised by other teams.
  • System performance monitoring: Ensuring services with minimal downtime.
  • Installation, configuration, and upgrade of Teradata software and related products.
  • Database security.
  • Release management of database changes as part of path to production.
  • Datastage ETL tool management (Preferred with Autosys knowledge).
  • Operating systems: Linux and Windows.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure).
