Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Director, Service Operations and Resource Management for our Asia Pacific region.

This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in service operations and resource management. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring alignment with global strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with expertise in managing large-scale software services operations, vendor relationships, and resource allocation. Additionally, they will possess strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • - Develop and implement initiatives to drive operational efficiency, improve margins, and optimize resource management
  • - Provide guidance on global policy and best practices to country Services Business Managers and Resource Managers
  • - Oversee services activities to ensure staffing aligns with business objectives
  • - Contribute to global debates on services strategy and capability
  • - Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reviews on services business performance
Operational Excellence:
  • Achieving Operational Efficiency:
  • - Ensure adoption of Professional Service Automation (PSA) systems across APAC countries
  • - Oversee Order-to-Cash end-to-end process to ensure compliance and consistency
  • - Maintain effective reporting systems, dashboards, and management reports
Resource Management:
  • Effective Resource Allocation:
  • - Lead APAC Resource Management community to promote RM functions and initiatives
  • - Collaborate with country RMO teams to drive billable utilization, skill development, and capacity planning
  • - Handle resource request escalations and resolve issues with zone and global RMOs
Requirements:
  • Education:
  • - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience:
  • - 15+ years of working experience in software services or related industry
  • Key Skills:
  • - Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • - Ability to drive results independently and work effectively in multicultural environment
