Astrophel Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cryogenic Engine Design and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our propulsion development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing cryogenic rocket engines for space launch vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cryogenic rocket engines with a focus on performance, reliability, and reusability.
- Collaborate on the development of core engine components, including injectors, combustion chambers, and nozzles.
- Conduct thermodynamic, structural, and fluid dynamic analyses of propulsion systems using simulation tools.
- Develop and execute testing protocols for cryogenic propulsion systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Work closely with manufacturing, avionics, and integration teams to ensure seamless development and deployment of propulsion systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in propulsion system design and testing, with an emphasis on cryogenic engines.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as ANSYS, CFD software, and SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or MATLAB for data analysis.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for cryogenic applications.
