About this Role

This is a moderately complex and varied assignment that entails ensuring settled trades transactions are appropriately recorded and reconciled in our books and records.

Main Responsibilities:
  • We reconcile Cash Nostro, Stock, Suspense, and Payable Receivable breaks on an exception basis.
  • We process collateral movements, proof GLs, reconcile Transaction tax, and review various subsystem reconciliations.
  • We manage operational risk, escalate issues, and deal with problems accurately and on a timely basis.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's University degree preferably in Commerce or a related field.
  • 0-1 years relevant experience in a reconciliations role within a Financial Services Industry.
  • Understanding of bank reconciliations and proofing.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Ability to schedule work and understand relative priorities.
  • Building positive working relationships and working with team members to understand the root cause of an issue.
