Job Title: VMware VCF Engineer

As a key member of our infrastructure team, we are seeking a highly skilled VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure the reliability of the VCF stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incident response and root cause analysis; drive problem resolution and performance optimization.
  • Perform routine health checks and remediation across vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vROps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • vSphere Administration: Hands-on experience with cluster design, HA/DRS, VM lifecycle, patching/updates is essential.
  • vSAN Operations: Practical experience with policy-based management and health & performance troubleshooting is required.
  • NSXT Day 2 Ops: Working knowledge of overlay/segments, routing concepts (T0/T1 awareness), distributed firewall rule creation/validation, NAT is necessary.
  • vROps / VMware Aria Operations: Experience with monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and reporting is required.
  • Data Center Networking: Solid understanding of L2/L3 fundamentals and storage basics is essential.
