Sr VBA Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr VBA Developer to join our team. As a Sr VBA Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex macros using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to automate workflows in Excel.

  • Develop and implement sophisticated macros using VBA to automate complex Excel workflows, increasing efficiency by up to 50%
  • Design and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into MS Access databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks and create VBA-based solutions that streamline operations and reduce manual workload
  • Implement robust error handling and debugging techniques in VBA code to ensure seamless execution of automated processes
  • Leverage problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in existing VBA applications, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity
  • Utilize strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into user-friendly documentation and training materials for end-users
  • Demonstrate ownership by taking initiative in identifying areas for automation and proposing innovative VBA solutions to enhance business processes
  • Apply a seeker mindset to continuously research and implement best practices in VBA development, staying ahead of industry trends
