Director of Information Technology and Innovation

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technology Strategy and Development
    • Develop and implement technology strategies that expand ministry reach and improve user experience.
    • Oversee software projects, mobile apps, and web platforms, driving AI integration and digital innovation.
    • Manage API integrations, cloud-based platforms, websites, and mobile apps for seamless interaction.
    • Evaluate 'make vs. buy' decisions for technology adoption, staying ahead of the latest tools and frameworks.
  • IT Infrastructure and Operations Management
    • Supervise IT infrastructure teams for server management, networks, and telecom systems, ensuring high uptime and scalability.
    • Oversee Tele Prayer Tower systems, implementing cost-effective solutions and vendor negotiations.
    • Ensure 24/7 connectivity across all Prayer Towers and remote teams, prioritizing reliability and security.
  • Cybersecurity and Surveillance
    • Establish robust cybersecurity frameworks to protect prayer data, donor information, and ministry systems, ensuring compliance with data privacy laws.
    • Implement cloud-based CCTV surveillance systems, integrating live feeds into a central monitoring dashboard.
    • Set up real-time alerting, incident response, and forensic investigation systems, enhancing overall security posture.
  • Database and Analytics Management
    • Lead database management teams for high-performance, secure, and scalable systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
    • Design data-driven dashboards for partner engagement, prayer requests, and outreach metrics, providing valuable insights.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary IT team, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
    • Partner with leadership teams to enable technology-driven solutions, driving business growth and expansion.
