Print Quality Assurance Specialist

Print Quality Assurance specialists ensure that book files meet our publishing guidelines before they are made available to customers. The PQA check determines whether a file will be available for customer purchase based on its print quality and whether it meets manufacturing standards.
- Implement associate coaching and identify training gaps based on trends
- Effectively answer questions from Quality Assurance Leads/SAs and guide them towards achieving business goals
- Work independently to meet targets and timelines
- Meet and drive productivity targets
- Analyze metrics, identify performance trends, and report data to management
- Track and manage individual performance and suggest opportunities for professional growth
- Serve as a role model by displaying good judgment, a positive work ethic, and interpersonal skills
- Foster effective relationships with QA teams in a collaborative environment
- Maintain schedule adherence for the team
Basic Requirements:
- 2+ years of team management experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, especially MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Experience leading process improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL Manager and working with large data sets
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma concepts
- Experience managing critical operational processes with SLA responsibility
