Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead tax data analysis and reporting efforts, utilizing cutting-edge tools to drive business growth.

  • Collaborate with customers to grasp their tax data needs, distilling this insight into actionable requirements for our team.
  • Analyze existing tax data, identifying areas where transformation and reporting can be optimized using the latest database solutions.
  • Document detailed technical specifications and summaries for each report, ensuring seamless communication across departments.
  • Develop dynamic reports that empower end-users to filter and aggregate parameters according to their needs, as well as custom reports tailored to specific use cases.
  • Create report subscriptions, dashboards, and other visualization tools to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Proactively identify dependencies, issues, risks, and barriers, escalating concerns to project stakeholders and supervisors while maintaining accountability for project scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Analyze workflow decisions and execute solution designs as directed by project engagement leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Test and document tax data solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience highly preferred.
  2. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting expectations.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.

Experience

  1. Prior experience delivering data analytics and intelligence solutions in a Tax environment strongly preferred.
  2. 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric, Alteryx, SQL Server, Power Query, and Power BI.

Additional Skills and Abilities

  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  2. Capacity to work effectively within a team environment crucial.
