Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Software Engineer in Security Automation. This role will involve implementing and developing SOAR solutions, identifying incident response activity where mitigating controls would be automated, and working closely with senior developers to translate complex incident response event patterns into automated processes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to contribute to the development of knowledge base and troubleshooting information to expand the efficiency and performance of security services. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in implementation and development of SOAR solutions, understanding of security automation and development using open-source technologies, and strong coding skills in Python, NodeJS, TypeScript, or other object-oriented languages.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or technology-related field or equivalent work experience;
  • 0-2 years of progressive software development or web development or security automation experience;
  • Hands-on experience in any one of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevOps technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform;
  • Experience in an Agile DevOps engineering environment that effectively uses CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Github);
  • Strong NoSQL database and SQL knowledge including MongoDB, Postgres, or MySQL;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
