Senior Data Analyst Position

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to fill a key role within our organization.

About the Role:

This position involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, particularly within the insurance, finance, or banking domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex data models using tools such as ERWin, Enterprise Architect, or Visio
  • Perform deep-dive analysis to extract insights from large datasets
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights
  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques (including NLP and predictive modeling)
  • Develop efficient ETL processes for data transformation and loading
  • Manage and query data across various DBMS (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Utilize Hadoop, NoSQL, and big data platforms for large-scale data processing
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance
  • Contribute to Agile project planning and development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence
  • Proven experience developing complex Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Solid experience in insurance or financial services domains
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, NLP, and predictive analytics
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes
  • Proficiency with SQL, UNIX/Linux/Solaris/Windows environments
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with data mining, data modeling, and data visualization best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of passion for new technologies and continuous learning
