Job Overview

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled IT Business and Technical Analyst to join our HR Integrations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of technical projects, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of technical Time Off projects, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Technical Analysis & Problem Solving: Break down complex business requirements and design efficient technical solutions.
  • Business Partnership & Technology Alignment: Partner with functional teams to understand their needs, translate those needs into technology requirements, and drive improvements that deliver efficiencies and tangible business value.
  • HR Systems & Data Integration Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in HR systems and data integration, particularly with Workday, designing seamless integration points that align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Collaborative Communication: Foster collaborative communication, effectively partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of requirements gathering, data mapping, solution design, and tracking work through Jira and the Agile process.
  • Task Execution: Execute tasks autonomously, driven to meet high expectations in a rewarding environment that offers exceptional opportunities for learning and growth.
Requirements
  • Strong experience working with HR systems, particularly in the HR domain, and supporting SaaS applications like Workday.
  • Proven ability to gather business requirements from users and stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements for system implementation and enhancements.
  • Experience leading requirements, design, and configuration workshops for implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially in the context of large corporate HR applications and data integrations.
  • Expertise in implementing and managing Workday Time Off preferred, including creating detailed specification documents for system modifications, handling integrations, and supporting technical components related to the platform.
  • Experience working in a global environment, managing complex, multi-country implementations, and understanding regional variations in HR practices and system requirements.
  • Experience working with confidential data, with an understanding of data security practices and privacy regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with users, provide a high level of customer service, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in technical support, software development, or HRIS roles.

You will collaborate with Scrum Leads, IT and Functional Leadership, HR IT Team Members, Global HR Stakeholders, QA Teams, and other cross-functional teams to drive the successful delivery of projects.
