Job Title: Java Support Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Support Engineer to fill the role at our organization.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in JavaScript-based frameworks, including jQuery, prototype, and AngularJS, as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript concepts.

They will also have good experience in HTML5 and CSS3, along with responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap, and be familiar with designing Single Page Applications using AngularJS.

Additionally, the candidate should have exposure to Node.js, understand usability and UI guidelines, and have experience writing code in Java at a familiarity level as a minimum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise with JavaScript-based frameworks like jQuery, prototype, and AngularJS
  • Good solid understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript concepts
  • Good solid experience in HTML5 and CSS3 along with responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap
  • Experience in developing Single Page Applications using AngularJS
  • Exposure to Node.js
  • Understanding of Usability & UI guidelines
  • Experience writing code in Java at a familiarity level as a minimum
  • Familiar with design patterns and web application architectures
  • Experience working with REST based web services or other server-based APIs
  • Knowledge of Java enterprise development (Spring, JPA, EJB or JSF)
  • Knowledge of unit testing and build processes (Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Hudson or Cruise Control)
  • Hands-on experience with Java web applications servers (JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, GlassFish or WebSphere)

  • 4-6 years of experience including at least 1 year in support environment
