About the Role:

At elevenx-capital, we are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and help ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Implement and Maintain Scalable Infrastructure: Develop and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for production systems using industry-leading tools and technologies.
  • Automate Operational Tasks: Automate repetitive operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring to reduce manual intervention and improve system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with software engineering teams to build reliable and efficient services that meet business requirements.
  • Develop System Monitoring Tools: Design and develop tools for system monitoring, alerting, and incident response to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Participate in On-Call Rotations: Participate in on-call rotations and manage incident response to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimize impact on business operations.
  • Analyze System Performance: Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks or failure points to optimize system configuration and resource utilization.
  • Develop Disaster Recovery Strategies: Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure business continuity in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Advocate for Reliability Best Practices: Advocate for reliability, availability, and performance best practices throughout the engineering teams to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, and scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
