About the Role

FRI FIL India Business and Research Services Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled FTC Associate to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of customer financial or non-financial instructions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Fidelity's products and businesses, as well as internal and external clients.
  • Process work items within agreed service levels and quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, productivity, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage queues efficiently to ensure timely processing of customer instructions.
  • Identify risks proactively and drive forward ideas to mitigate these risks.
  • Take ownership of individual issues and ensure their resolution to customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling client-sensitive information.
  • Accurately record data for relevant MI and effectively understand published MI's impact on performance.
  • Keep supervisors informed of work progress and escalate potential issues.
  • Ensure knowledge of procedures remains up-to-date.

Process-Specific Responsibilities

  • Perform initial risk assessments for new or periodic clients to determine review requirements.
  • Review client documentation, including legal documents, source of wealth evidence, and due diligence.
  • Prepare client profiles and summaries of source of wealth.
  • Conduct PEP/sanction checks and media searches to identify potential high-risk factors.
  • Collect and review due diligence documentation and AML risk factors on client accounts.
  • Deliver ongoing monitoring of client relationships via periodic KYC reviews and trigger events.
  • Review and approve client documentation and source of wealth information and evidence.
  • Ensure necessary data is available for clients.
  • Manage account blocking and unlocking, and participate in initial/client communication.

Requirements

  • Graduate with 1-2 years of relevant experience in Financial Services.
  • Awareness of AML regulations, PEP, and sanctions.
  • Knowledge of trusts, partnerships, and corporate structures is an advantage.
  • Understanding of screening systems such as World-Check and Experian.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive investigations and research.
  • Strong risk awareness, including operational, compliance, business, and reputational risks.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a team-spirited approach.
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a demanding environment while maintaining consistency of work performance.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
