Job Overview

We are a Consultancy seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance distributed systems using Java.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and drive innovation in the field of software development.

Salary Estimate: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-throughput, fault-tolerant distributed applications using Java.
  • Implement scalable data storage solutions using NoSQL technologies like Cassandra.
  • Develop microservices architecture and SOA-based systems.
  • Integrate message-oriented streaming middleware (Kafka, MQ, NATS, AMPS).
  • Work on cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure) and containerization using orchestration tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.

Requirements:

  • 4.5+ years of hands-on experience in Java.
  • Experience in building Order and Execution Management, Trading systems.
  • Strong analytical and software architecture design skills with emphasis on test-driven development.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with modern web technology (Angular, React, TypeScript).
  • Experience with programming languages (Scala, Python).
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
