Job Summary

We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence Specialist to join our team. This is a highly technical role that involves designing and developing multimodal AI architectures to integrate various types of data.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Multimodal AI Architectures:
    • Build and implement transformer-based architectures to integrate multiomics, EHR, clinical, and imaging data.
    • Develop advanced cross-attention mechanisms and multimodal fusion models for heterogeneous data.
  • Implement Deep Learning Models:
    • Utilize CNNs for feature extraction from ultrasound imaging.
    • Integrate transformers, RNNs, and attention-based models for temporal and high-dimensional clinical/EHR data.
  • Data Integration and Preprocessing:
    • Preprocess and normalize multiomics datasets, clinical data, and ultrasound images.
    • Develop pipelines for handling missing, noisy, and imbalanced data across modalities.
  • Research and Innovation:
    • Stay updated on state-of-the-art AI techniques, including multimodal transformers, graph neural networks (GNNs), and variational autoencoders.
    • Collaborate with bioinformaticians, data scientists, and clinicians to fine-tune models and drive scientific breakthroughs.
  • Model Interpretability:
    • Implement explainable AI tools (e.g., SHAP, LIME) to enhance clinical trust and visualization.
  • Scalability and Deployment:
    • Optimize model performance and deploy models on scalable cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
    • Integrate APIs and ensure end-to-end model pipelines.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Computational Biology, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proven expertise in deep learning architectures:
      • Experience with transformers (e.g., multimodal transformers, cross-attention models).
      • Hands-on experience with CNNs, RNNs, and graph-based models (GNNs).
    • Strong background in multimodal fusion techniques (image, text, and tabular data).
    • Proficiency in frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, and deep learning tools.
    • Solid understanding of bioinformatics pipelines and handling multiomics data.
    • Experience working with large-scale clinical and EHR datasets.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerized deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Knowledge of explainable AI methods (e.g., SHAP, LIME).
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Knowledge of ultrasound image processing and medical imaging AI.
    • Experience working with large-scale biomedical datasets.
    • Publications in high-impact journals or conferences on multimodal AI models.

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year
